There is no javascript for accessing an SQL server. Some SQL servers have built in http servers (IIS) which you can query with AJAX. You can write a server side service where you pass a query string to using AJAX and return some result as JSON or JSONP (if cross domain).
There is a javascript SQL object in beta but it won't help you to access an external SQL server like mysql or SQL Server.
