Hi Mike
As I stated in the previous question there is only one page. The buttons reveal other tabs with forms and a tab associated with form where a createTextNode
output appears. When it refreshes I go back to the button where I want to see the textNode information and its not there. As I stated the onclick calls the JS
were all the createElements and so ons are done. When I add the return false on the < input onclick >the form does not return, therefore the page is not on
the section of the page they want it to be on.
The example you provided am I correct to say that in the input tag their needs to be an id which is then added to the cookie function?
Remember their is only on page. I need to know if this still applies before I dive into this.
Thanking you in advance
PH

Hello:
I,m trying to write some code to create a a div with a class and and id. I believe I have that part correct, I then create a <p> element, I then create a text node to go inside the <p> tag the issue is trying to append everything. I need to work dynamically
This is what I'm trying to do
var element = document.getElementsByClassName(" creditCardSummary");
var parent= element.parentNode;
//create div
var newDiv = document.createElement("div");
newDiv.id "newcc";
newDiv.className = "creditCardSummaryWrapper";
//Create a paragraph tag
var para = document.createElement("p");
alert("here")
var node=document.createTextNode("CardNumber:cshadow Experation:monthyear");
//The monthyear and cshadow are variables that hold information I
//captured from a form successfully.
para.appendChild(node);
I can't figure out out how to append all this so div ,<p >and text to show up.
parent.insertAfter(element, para); //I know something is missing.
Your help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance
